About My Therapy Practice
I believe that humans are remarkably resilient. I will work to understand your inherent strengths and to help you recognize the tools you already have at your disposal as we build new ones together. To me, the heart of therapeutic work is owning our needs and desires and developing flexible and intentional strategies to fulfill them.
I offer a warm and accepting space for you to discover what you truly want out of life or a relationship, and the guidance and support to pursue it. I take an integrative approach to therapy, catering to people’s unique needs and values, while drawing heavily on Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Some of my areas of focus with couples, individuals, and families include:
- Interpersonal communication and connection
- Exploration of sexual and gender identity
- Healing and flourishing after experiencing sexual trauma
- Understanding and engaging in affirmative consent practices
- Sexual dysfunction
- Consensual sexual behavior issues, including feeling out of control or compulsive sexually
I affirm diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship configurations, and sexual practices, including but not limited to:
- Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Pan, Queer
- Asexual, Aromantic
- Transgender, Genderqueer, Non-Binary
- Furries, Therians, Otherkin
